Listen

The tinkling of bells on cow or sheep will occasionally reach you over the sound of birdsong, the rushing water of a stream or the sighing of the breeze through the treetops.

These are the Tranquil Valleys and it won’t take you long to find complete peace and quiet in front of a breath-taking view.

But if sound and movement are your thing, don’t miss out on the hundreds of cultural activities that take place throughout the year.

Classical music, theatre and dance, folk songs and good old-fashioned fiestas take place at any time, giving you a chance to mix letting your hair down with the serene tranquillity of the mountains.
